burnerchat.ai sets no cookies
This website does not set any cookies, and it does not use browser storage (such as localStorage) either. It has no analytics, no advertising, no social-media widgets, no tracking pixels and no fingerprinting. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so visiting the site doesn’t send your details to Google Fonts or any other third party. That’s why you don’t see a cookie banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser, for example to keep you signed in or to track you across sites. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting. We don’t use any of them on this website.
Like every web server, ours sees your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, and keeps this in short-lived access logs for security and to fix problems. That doesn’t involve cookies. See the Privacy Policy.
Other burnerchat.ai services
Some separate services on burnerchat.ai sub-domains — for example web access to Burner Mail or our internal admin tools — may use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against attacks. These are only set after you choose to sign in, are never used for tracking or advertising, and don’t require consent under EU and UK rules because the service can’t work without them.
The Burner app
The app doesn’t use cookies. It stores what it needs on your phone — your chats, settings, encryption keys (in your phone’s secure storage), downloaded media and, if you use it, the Burner AI model. This stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. It contains no advertising IDs and no third-party tracking SDKs. How the app handles your data is covered by the Privacy Policy.
Third parties
When you follow a link from this site to somewhere else — for example Google Play to download the app — that site’s own cookie policy applies.
Your choices
Because we don’t set cookies there’s nothing to accept or reject here. You can still block or delete cookies for any website in your browser settings.
Changes
If we ever start using cookies that aren’t strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting them.
